Elopement Magic in Woodstock, Vermont:

Jessica & Max’s Romantic Day

When Jessica and Max reached out about eloping in beautiful Woodstock, Vermont, I could already tell their day was going to be something special. From our very first conversation, I knew photographing them would feel more like a creative fashion shoot than a traditional wedding—and I was right.

Max, originally from Ghana, and Jessica chose to have an intimate, joy-filled elopement ceremony with just the two of them here in Vermont. Their deep connection and infectious laughter made it so easy to capture their love. The way they moved together, played off each other’s energy, and brought genuine emotion to every moment reminded me of my early days in fashion photography—natural, soulful, and full of life.

They’re planning a big celebration in Ghana this June with family and friends, but for this part of their journey, it was all about the two of them—and the stunning Vermont backdrop.

Woodstock is truly one of the most romantic places to elope in New England. Whether you’re drawn to the charm of the Woodstock Inn, the historic Middle Covered Bridge, or the cozy streets lined with quaint shops and old-world charm, it’s a dream destination for couples who want both elegance and character.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from Jessica and Max’s elopement session—moments filled with laughter, style, and heartfelt connection. This day was a reminder that love doesn’t need an audience to be celebrated—it just needs two people, a little sunshine, and a place that feels like magic.

📍 Thinking of eloping in Vermont? Whether it’s a romantic escape for two or a micro-wedding with your closest people, Woodstock offers endless possibilities. Reach out—I’d love to help you capture it all.
