With a deep love for storytelling and a background in fashion photography, my work blends documentary honesty with editorial elegance—capturing moments that feel both effortlessly stylish and deeply personal. Each wedding and elopement is approached with fresh eyes and an open heart, ensuring the images reflect not just the events of the day, but the emotion and energy within them.
Educated as both an artist and photographer at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography, and fortunate to study under the likes of Ansel Adams and Clifford West, the foundation was set early for creating meaningful imagery. That journey continued through immersive workshops with some of the world’s top wedding and portrait photographers including Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brooke Shaden, Cliff Mautner, and Paulina Duczman—each one influencing a thoughtful, refined approach to the craft.
My love for photography started when I was a child, thanks to my grandmother. She had a darkroom in her house, and we’d spend hours in there developing film and making prints together. For my 5th birthday, she gave me a little Kodak Brownie camera—and the photo on the left is one of the very first pictures I ever took. I still remember her helping me make the print so I could give it to my mom. That’s when I totally fell in love with photography, and honestly, I’ve been hooked ever since.
Over the years, more than 250 weddings have been photographed, each one carrying a story of its own. From the unexpected humor of a half-dressed father of the bride to a friendly (but forceful) St. Bernard who didn’t understand personal space and literally flattened me during the ceremony—there’s always joy, surprise, and love woven into the day.
Easy-going, fun-loving, and truly honored to be invited into such meaningful moments, the goal is simple: to create images that feel as alive and timeless as the memories themselves.
I suppose I am a real country girl at heart, growing up with horses and dogs and spending a good part of my life in the English countryside. I moved to Vermont in 1999 and to be able to mix the tranquility and beauty of the Green Mountains and have the lively Boston scene just two hours away is just about the perfect lifestyle as far as I am concerned. The sky diving? Yep that's me... it was a dare while on a tour with the English Cricket team in New Zealand...and I can safely say it will never happen again..well that is unless I happen to have a couple who want photographs of the same thing and that is what I would have to do to get them.
