Katie and Johnny's engagement session was photographed at Featherstone in Woodstock, VT.

What she said:

"Johnny and I actually met at a wedding a few years ago, I was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsmen. Neither of us had a date at the wedding and just hung out the entire night mutually. We had all the things in common and he quickly became my best friend. It didn’t take long for us to date and after only a year of dating we got engaged. He proposed in Boston by the water and afterward we went to the aquarium (I love sea life).

Once I graduated college a couple months later,  we moved in together and started wedding planning. We are a very outgoing, fun loving couple and we want our wedding to reflect that.  Our theme is “wild flowers” so all the flowers and bouquets will look natural like they were picked from a field. And we would love candids I just want our pictures to capture the happiness we have with each other...."

So that is how I approached their engagement session. "fun loving and wild flowers".

You will notice the different color pallets amongst the images and that is for a reason, so Kate and Johnny can decide which pallet they want their wedding photos to be...cool, warm or bright. All my couples receive their wedding images in both color and black and white as well.
