Ying and Hans had a private wedding ceremony on Hans's estate in Southern Vermont. Hans and his son actually skydived into a field near the ceremony and it was like watching 007 arrive at his own wedding. Evelyn, the wedding planner and owner of Let's Make Magic Events was brilliant and really had her work cut out for her as this wedding ceremony and reception were all about the details, from the color scheme to the chamber musicians and all was unbelievably beautiful with the red influence of Ying's home country of China showing through. Evelyn did all the table and floral designs as well!
Ying and her bridesmaids got ready for the wedding inside the home and kept hidden from the arriving guests.
A magnum of champagne was opened and Hans photo bombed the girls toasts!
Ying's wedding dress was exquisite with red rhinestones scattered about and it also made into her reception dress by unzipping the lower half after the wedding ceremony. Here are few more detail photographs of her rings and wonderful Jimmy Choo's.
After a little "rough and tumble" with their young son Hans and one of his older sons got ready for the big jump before the wedding ceremony.
After Hans's successful and very entertaining jump the guests made their way to the wedding ceremony site which was absolutely breathtaking, with views over the Southern Vermont hills.
The wedding ceremony was so colorful and included a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony where tea was served to the parents and grandparents of Ying and Hans.
Hans and Ying then exchanged rings and the wedding ceremony was ended with some beautiful smiles as Ying lifted her veil for Hans to kiss her.
There was a short cocktail hour with lawn games and food stands, including a scrumptious chocolate fountain that was a huge hit with everyone, not just the children!
A few more photos from the cocktail hour and wedding reception details.
The wedding reception was in an amazing "glass tent" instead of the normal white tents that are so popular with wedding venues. A "glass tent" takes a lot longer to put up and the effects, when lit with multiple strands of fairy lights are just magical. Here are some of my favorite reception photos.
